British singer Boy George releases an explicitly pro-Israel song about the aftermath of Hamas’s October 7, 2023, onslaught, titled “We will dance again” and featuring some lyrics in Hebrew — including as the song title — that are a direct translation of the title and the song’s first few lines.

Released directly on social media platform X with the hashtag “#Shalom” — thus bypassing streaming platforms — the reggae song specifically references the massacre of hundreds of people at the Nova festival that day, and says the ensuing war is not a genocide but a natural response to the mega-attack.

The 1980s star has long been a staunch defender of Israel.
